PSYCHOLOGICAL HYJACK USING THE POWER OF SUGGESTION
by Doctors of Psychiatry/Psychology through private counsel
by Mainstream Media reaching tens of thousands
March 3, 2018

you’ve awakened abruptly again, and again it’s 2:00 a.m.

After experiencing this interruption of rest on several occasions you decide it’s time to see your PCP. You describe the events as best you can and your PCP suggests you are having anxiety/panic attacks and that you might benefit from seeing a psychologist.

You’ve had a long day, it’s time for bed and you can’t relax because you’re thinking about those 2:00 a.m. interruptions that have been invading your sleep. But now the ball is rolling, you believe you have something to go on; a diagnosis! “The Power of Suggestion” does a real number on you and you become anxious just thinking about another 2 a.m. interruption; now what?

The power of suggestion is a tool that is all too often used to the disadvantage of the recipient. At some point in time we are all subjected to the power of suggestion. The media has the strongest potential for misusing the power of suggestion. Doctors of psychiatry are in a position to use the power of suggestion to encourage healing. On the other hand, they can use it to manipulate/demand compliance. I can’t think of a greater responsibility than seeing to it that the power of suggestion is used to obtain a positive response.

Wrongful use of the “power of suggestion” = “psychological hijacking” = “inciting hysteria!”

I have attempted to make sense of how the most current shooting was reported; and wondering how can we prevent the hysteria that is being incited as News of the shootings reaches the satellite and broadcast across the nation? When you read the definition of “hysteria” you realize the negative/reverse psychological impact it can have; we all become victims of psychological incitation/hijacking. See the definition below:

[hysteria: noun 1. exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement, especially among a group of people. Psychiatry: a psychological disorder (not now regarded as a single definite condition) whose symptoms include conversion of psychological stress into physical symptoms (somatization), selective amnesia, shallow volatile emotions, and overdramatic or attention-seeking behavior. The term has a controversial history as it was formerly regarded as a disease specific to women.]

My lineup of the chronological order of events on March 2nd is not being posted as they pertain to the CNN article that you can view here:
